Amitabh Bachchan – अमिताभ बच्चन presents versatility. He is an Indian film producer, actor, former politician, occasional playback singer, and one of the best television hosts. Amitabh Ji acquired popularity with his films namely Sholay, Deewaar, Zanjeer in the 1970s and renowned as ‘angry young man’. Early life

Bachchan birth was in Allahabad. Harivansh Rai Bachchan, a Hindi poet was his father and his mother belonged to Lahore, a Punjabi Sikh woman. Initially, Amitabh Bachchan full name is Amitabh Harivansh Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan original name was Inquilaab Shrivaastava, but later his father changed it to Amitabh, meaning the light that lives eternally. His surname was Shrivastava and his father took Bachchan as the pen name that became the surname adopted by Bachchan.

Amitabh studied at Jnana Prabodhini Allahabad and Boys’ High School, then to Nainital’s Sherwood College, taking to the arts stream. He studied at the Delhi University at Kirori Mal College and also completed a Science degree.Amitabh Bachchan birthday

Career

This followed in film Anand as he appeared as a supporting actor, then in Parwaana he gave a negative role, made a guest appearance in Guddi movie. In 1973, Zanjeer bought him fame as the best actor and also he stared Namak Haraam winning second best-supporting actor Filmfare award.  He starred in 1975 in Chupke Chupke, after Mili and Faraar. He nominated as the Best Actor in Deewar and Sholay bought him a high earning declaring to be the Film of the Millennium.

Amitabh Bachchan filmography takes a beautiful turn as he sang for Mr. Natwarlal in 1979 and was in the nomination for Best Actor Filmfare Award and also for Male Playback Award. In the same year, he received the nomination for Kaala Patthar and also nominated for Dostana in 1980. He won in Allahabad and also resigned after three years. He also set up ABCL company and was not a success.

In 2000, he came with KBC, a game show, starred in films and also won in Paa his National Film third award as Best Actor and also Filmfare Best Actor Award for the fifth time.
